Born from a passion for crafting extraordinary frozen delights, Velvet Chills has been delighting taste buds since its inception in 2020. What began as a humble pursuit of the perfect scoop grew into a brand that is synonymous with exceptional quality and unforgettable flavors. Their brand identity, however, lacked consistency across their various brand touch points, which made it quite a challenge for their target market to easily relate to their brand. It was at this point that they partnered with URBS Digital to create a new brand identity that communicates a feeling of euphoria and positivity that resonates with Velvet Chills’ exciting yet healthy flavor options.

When Velvet Chills came to us, they were ready to transition to healthier, low-fat ice cream options and introduce two new flavors; blackcurrant and fruit’n’nut. Hence, they wanted enhanced brand imagery that communicates their compelling combination of ice cream flavors as a healthy indulgence and not “diabetes in a tub.”
In addition, they needed a boost in their online reach and presence across all platforms. This required a rebranding of their websites and mobile apps, as well as their social media platforms, and running a few ads and campaigns.
Velvet Chills decided to expand their target audience to include older individuals and ‘fitfam’ members who wanted to satisfy their sweet tooth cravings on cheat days. With this in mind, we analyzed the brand’s core values and decided to direct our energies into creating captivating imagery that can easily be associated with Velvet Chills being a moderately priced yet flavorful and healthier choice for everyone.
